Chris Pinches

Chris graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (now the University College of Osteopathy) in 1985. Until 2023 he managed a busy, multidisciplinary clinic in Banstead as well as his Farnham practice but now operates solely from Farnham.

Chris enjoys treating the full range and variety of problems that typically present in a ‘general Osteopathic Practice’; from the young to the old, sporty to sedentary, back problems to ankle injuries. A particular area of interest is treating pregnant mothers. The unique stresses and strains that occur with a developing pregnancy, and the changing posture that goes with it, respond well to Osteopathy.

He is a ‘recognised specialist’ by most Private Health Insurers including AXA PPP, Simply Health and Aviva.

Chris maintains his professional development by attending seminars and practical courses. He also set up a ‘CPD group’ for local Osteopaths who meet regularly to share knowledge and experience.

When he is not working he likes to be out on his bike exploring the country lanes in the beautiful Surrey and Hampshire countryside. In 2014 he took part in the 1,000 mile Land’s End to John O’Groats bike ride and has done many sportives since including, in 2023, doing the Maratona in the Dolomites. His other interest is golf and he continues striving to drag his game up from mediocrity!
